Our Garden!!!

Today, Ms. Madden's 5th grade block 1 math class went out to our new garden.  We measured the 4' by 8' beds and turned them into square foot areas.  To make the square foot squares we marked every foot on each side, and then taped string equally across to the other side. We completed quite a few beds, but we still have some in progress.  We did this so each plant has its own section to grow.  Today, two students planted our first plant which was a strawberry plant.  We transplanted it, and are very excited to see it grow.                         By: Nayeli and Grace
